Last few weeks were spent on rebuilding my website from utter scratch.
Why?
I'm a writer too, on FanFiction.net to be exact, but that site has no space for original stories. Only ones that are based upon someone else's world (IE: WoW, Red Steel, Zelda, LOTR). I started a new story after finishing my previous two, and I based it upon NOBODY's world.
So there's no space for it on fanfiction.

The new site currently contains the two stories and a start of the new one. I've added Google's Holiday Doodle to my art-section with links to DA. Yes, I've reversed engineered Google's Doodle. So what? They posted it online with no copyright in the script. Besides, all variable names were letters of the alphabet AND I changed the functionality a bit to fit my needs.

As you're probably used to see long journal entries from me, I hereby think it'll turn out just like that.

First, let's talk random stuff that happened in the past 11 weeks (yeah, I've not been on in a long time). Reason? Computer went bullet time on me. Solution? Complete hard drive dump on an external then hit the famous command line "Format C: y".
Reinstalled the whole load, including all proggies I probably will and probably won't use for a while.
Never bothered to log in again on all websites, though I did peek a few times now and then.

Next! In case you're wondering why I haven't updated the scrolled story.. it never got enough hits for me to keep it updating it on DeviantArt, so I declare it DEAD on DA.
Linkage to FanFiction account with both stories. There, posted the rest. Probably won't get much more hits because of this journal, but its worth a shot.

1: I dated the girl I like, thanked her for the awesome day, but didn't kiss her on the cheek for it.. I'm such a coward at times.
2: It took me more than 5 years to finish 'Adventures of a Warrior', a fanfic in the above link.
3: Plans of making a manga/comic/story are running through my head, but knowing me, I'll need a mountain of time to start work on it. There's a lot for me to learn.
4: There's a WIP drawing laying around here which will probably take forever to finish.
5: Nr 5 was not about me, so I'll post 2 things here! a) I wanna see 'Despicable Me', but not alone. b) I wanna see 'Tangled', but not alone. (I guess I like movies?)
6: I hate being single =[  but I also am a coward when I shouldn't be to fix that 'problem'.
7: I never regretted buying a Wii console. In fact, it made me a game addict again.
8: The following games are taking my free time: Mario Galaxy (and 2), Paper Mario, Tales of Symphonia, Guitar Hero 3/4/Metallica/5, Zelda: Twilight Princess, uhhhhh some more, but that's a secret n_n
9: At times, I feel lonely and really tired, but that doesn't last long, because then I'm angry at myself for screwing up earlier in life that caused the current situation.
10: Took this kinda deep huh? Well, let's finish with something more upbeat: I wouldn't do anything different if I had the chance to redo this life! It's being great right now!

It's been quite the while since my last visit other than simple image hunting.
Just to sum up the top most important changes or events since.. say.. September 2009?

I graduated in January this year with a 9/10 score
I was the first one to get such a grade under my tutor. So that was a nice add-on.

After that, I was done with school with graduation 'n stuff all done. Had a nice looong vacation at home for nearly 9 weeks when I wanted to find work. After two weeks I had received a mail from the company I graduated on, accepted the invitation to 'see what we can do', accepted their offer and had a job! In TWO WEEKS!

Now it's been over 7 weeks since I started there. The tenth of this month, my first salary was received and I saw chance to spend roughly 75% to stuff I wanted to have :3

Let's see.. umm.. I finally found chance to get a bunch of swords over from Australia! Now I have a complete costume for Chibicon 2010! (and other conventions) as I now own three Tensa Zangetsu katanas.
One of them can be seen right here, the other two haven't been photographed yet.
I can tell that the police won't mind me having them, because they're 'non-dangerous' as the box said. Made of wood and 52" (132cm) long, black blade, red hilt, black cotton wrapping and the correctly shaped guard.
Also in the Australian package, Exotath! No, not a steel one, but one perfectly fit for LARP-ing
This blade designed by Kit Rae weights nothing more than two of your average manga books! It is soooo light and sturdy! Now all I gotta do is find out what kind of clothes would befit its wielder...

Enough about swords, because that's not all I spent my gold pieces on~
This is something more related to the artistry one can expect to find at Deviant Art.
Yup, I'm talking about a brand new tablet! For years I've had a Wacom Silver Graphire 4 A4. No complaints about the current state of duty though, it
s still in perfect condition. Except the pen.. you know that half-rubber handle for the fingers? It's molten so often and reformed, that now it's kinda um.. not pretty.
In a related topic, I wanted to have a tablet for work anyway. So what I did was move the Graphire to work location and get a new tablet from Wacom.
Problem was, that they don't make any Graphires anymore
And the only other equal sized tablets.. is the Wacom Bamboo Fun Medium! With the average price tag of 200 Euros, this was the only option for me. I'm used to a big tablet, so I have to stick to big tablets.
The tablet has touch capabilities,which, btw, are AWESOME! It's a zoomer, scroller, touchpad (like laptops have) I can do RMB clicks
The scroll wheel of my Graphire has big issues because it doesn't always scroll the same direction of the wheel. Doing crazy stuff like (when I scroll up) ↑↓↑↑↑↑↑↓↓↑↑↓↑↓. So my scrolling was reaaaly bad >_>

On a completely different topic, I'm starting to make plans to leave the parental house
Now that I have work and income to make myself financially independent, I wanna live on my own in my own place. I'm sure many others have felt the same way at some point in their lives as Queen once sang "I want to break free".

Oh, and I've gone mental a couple weeks ago..

Lastly, in two weeks time, there's Chibicon 2010 to worry about! Although I had plans to make the clothes of Darkrei, it never went any farther than designs and measurements. But on the other hand, I now have all I need for Kurosaki Ichigo's Bankai
I already had the clothes, but I couldn't find the zanpakutou anywhere in my country. Just plenty of them abroad, but then the shipping costs would increase the total cost too much.
But that's all taken care of now.
The only thing that I can still do, is keep my Guitar Hero skills up and running for the challenge with a friend

Well.. to be honest, I've never really been gone from DA.
I was just too busy with school (really, why do all teachers wanted their assignments to be handed in at the SAME TIME?!) to really get to the artistry (is that even a word?).
-blabbers on about how school was, how weird the rules were and how dumb they were-
I didn't even know I was allowed to graduate 2 days before school wanted to know whether or not I would find the graduation company myself, or through school... >__>
Bleh.. not only that, but the only thing school did, was tell a company that I wanted to graduate there.. (graduation = internship for 5-6 months + documentation etc etc)

Aaaanyway~ I've started my experiment with the first chapter of one of the stories I'm still working on. Instead of submitting just the text, I've put the story on an authentic parchment background and rolled up the top and bottom a bit.
On that subject, I noticed that even in the category Typography (in which states that many different fonts can be used, as well as other media) it's not possible to submit a picture.. only text formats or PDF.. and because I don't really think PDF is the way to go for pure pictures, I had to choose something else..
If the results are positive (at least a couple dozen views or so, maybe favs/comments, I dunno) I'll continue to release more on "parchment" and hopefully can entertain more people this way :]

On another subject *points at last word of journal title*, I'm working on a selfmade cosplay. Some parts are selfmade, some are collected/ordered through sites, others are found in stores.
One item was particularly difficult to get.. namely the kitty-bell. You know, those little bells that have a highpitched ring the size of a small acorn? Well.. everyone had those. But I needed a bigger on, roughly the size of 4-5cm (1.5-2 inch)! I went to NINE different stores, starting at a pet-shop and going through 3 fabric stores and a second pet shop, 3 hobby-stores and ending at a fourth hobby store where I finally found the bell I was looking for.
The last 3 stores were an hour's walk through the city of Eindhoven, but the first half dozen were on a 3 hours bike-ride away from home... Through pouring rain and sunshine (yes, weird weather that day) I rode my bike through my whole home town T.T
I looked like a drowned cat that day when I got home. Everything was just soaked. (and at that point, still no bell).
I'll post some pics when I think it's done n_n

Oh yeah.. before I forget to note this, a couple weeks ago, my iPOD died =[
Repairs would cost a rough 200 Euros T_T
Alternative would be to buy a new one, but the store that I went to, only had nanos, shuffles and the latest classic. If I decided to go for a nano or a shuffle, I would need to cut my playlist in 10 pieces minimum because they're so tiny ._.
The only classic there was, was the 120GB (which is 6x bigger than what I had), and the 80GB was no longer available (something with no longer being made or so).
Eventually, I decided that, in order to NOT lose my mind without music, I was going to buy the 120GB classic. In BLACK! >:3
Boy, did I feel that in my bank balance >_<
